Ledger Lane Referral Program Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Ledger Lane Referral Program (“Program”). By submitting a referral through our website or Airtable form, you (“Referrer”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Program Overview

The Ledger Lane Referral Program rewards eligible participants who refer new clients to Ledger Lane LLC. Referrers can earn account credits or cash rewards when their referred client becomes an active paying client of Ledger Lane LLC.

2. Eligibility

• The Program is open to current Ledger Lane LLC clients and the general public who are 18 years of age or older.

• Ledger Lane LLC employees, contractors, and their immediate family members are not eligible.

• Participation in the Program is voluntary and may be terminated at any time by either party.

3. Qualified Referrals

To qualify as a “Referral” under this Program:

1. The referred individual or business must be a new bookkeeping client to Ledger Lane LLC (not a past or current client).

2. The referral must be submitted through the official Ledger Lane LLC Referral Form prior to the referred client’s first consultation or service agreement.

3. The referred client must:

   • Sign a bookkeeping service agreement with Ledger Lane LLC, and

   • Maintain active paid service for a minimum of two (2) consecutive months.

4. The referred client must operate a service-based business such as a independent truckers, real estate agent, beauticians, event planners, consultants, lawyers, web design and development, digital products, cleaning and organizing, tutoring/teaching.

   • Referrals involving food industry or inventory-based businesses are not eligible - this is simply because this is not the area of expertise for Ledger Lane LLC.

4. Rewards

a. Current Clients: Eligible referrers who are active clients of Ledger Lane LLC will receive a $50 account credit applied to their next invoice after their referral meets the qualified criteria.

b. General Public: Eligible referrers who are not current clients will receive a $50 cash payment (via PayPal, Venmo, or other agreed method) after their referral meets the qualified criteria.

c. Bonus: Referrers who submit three (3) or more qualified referrals within a 12-month period will receive a $75 bonus in addition to earned rewards.

d. Payment Timing: Rewards are processed within 30 days after the referred client completes two months of active service.

e. Limitations: Rewards are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for other benefits. Referrers may submit unlimited referrals; however, all must meet eligibility requirements.

5. Taxes

Referrers are responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations related to reward payments received through this Program.

6. Fraud or Misuse

Ledger Lane LLC reserves the right to:

• Disqualify any referral that appears fraudulent, incomplete, or submitted under false pretenses.

• Revoke or withhold any reward if eligibility requirements are not fully met.

7. Changes and Termination

Ledger Lane LLC may modify or terminate this Program, or these Terms, at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Rewards earned prior to modification or termination will be honored according to the terms in effect at that time.

8. Limitation of Liability

Ledger Lane LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in this Program. Ledger Lane LLC's total liability in connection with any claim related to the Program shall not exceed the amount of the reward earned by the Referrer.

9. Privacy

Information collected through the Referral Form will be used solely for the purpose of administering this Program and will be handled in accordance with Ledger Lane LLC’s Privacy Policy.
